Radio Jobs

Radio jobs are getting tougher to find. Jobs in radio are disappearing at an alarming rate. If you read the trade mags, and you should, you know that radio sales are down dramatically, and stations are cutting back on staff. Therefore, you have to know where the jobs are as soon as they become available. Most stations now post their ads online only.

Members of our Radio Jobs group get to read our Classified Ads page on this site as part of Membership. Additionally they receive radio jobs advice from a Program Director.

The consultant to this site is a 45 year veteran of the Broadcasting Industry.  Jack Ellery has been an on-air personality at WOR, New York; WIP & WWDB in Philadelphia, WFLA, Tampa and at Greater Media's Heritage station, WCTC, in New Jersey.

The Problems Getting Radio Jobs

We radio announcers are in a shrinking industry.  Radio jobs are disappearing. Automation is killing us.  Voice tracking is doing away with jobs for those with talent.  Amateurs on the Internet are stealing our listeners.

Our classifieds are for MEMBERS only.

The following Google Ads are for general information and are not necessarily endorsed by the authors of RADIO JOBS.

Before you go to our Radio Jobs Classifieds, remember that everyone wants to be a media star.  Few have the training, background or know-how to move up the ladder.

You who desire RADIO JOBS have to know what format you're best at, you have to be willing to relocate and most of all, you have to know how get a Program Director to listen to your audition.  Jobs in Radio are hard to come by, and sending auditions to Program Directors who just trash your audition is an absolute waste of time.
